New Jewelry Tutorial! O! My Goddess, Wire Wrapped Earring Project, Marquee Bead, Wire Weaved Jewelry

 
 


This is a wonderful and fun earring design, created so that you can attach most side drilled beads that are marquee shape, oval or teardrop. With small alterations to the wire and bead sizes, you can also use this pattern to make a matching pendant for the earrings!

The earrings will measure approximately 2 inches long (including the ear wires) and 3/4 inches wide. There are 19 pages, over 132 clear and close up images in 48 detailed steps to guide you through the project. The estimated project time is 3 hours.

The tutorial uses copper wire, but you can use any type of wire. It is important however, to use the
sizes indicated in the supply list or contact me with questions regarding using other size wires. I’m happy to help.

Tree of Life Pendant, Bonsai Circle, Wire Wrapped Jewelry, NEW!

I had a great time this week giving my hand to designing a tree of life pendant.  While there are many versions of this design on the market, I do feel my little Bonsai are something unique and special.  I've included progress images so you have a glance at how these are created.

This is one of my most favorite designs and I created it so that it would be a wonderful compliment to the Majestic Mother of Pearl Pendant Tutorial. 

This pattern is gorgeous and can be created with any type of round, drilled bead. I used brushed copper puff beads, but you can also use your favorite gemstone beads, flat or round OR even oval shaped.

There are over 150 clear and close up images and 34 steps of detailed instruction to guide you through the project. And certainly, I'm always here for you and welcome your contact if you have any questions along the way.

I had quite the time creating this one for you! It's a gorgeous design that can be weaved around any flat round or spherical bead. Once you’re practiced with it, you can easily modify the design slightly and use it for any shape of drilled bead. There are 125 clear and closeup images to guide you through 40 detailed steps. This is a wonderfully challenging project for anyone who loves the art of wire jewelry!

The Finished Custom Pendant! Mystical Messenger

How delightful when plans change and you find time on your hands!  I didn't expect to get this finished today, but chance happened, that I did.  Jill is a dear and wonderfully spiritual individual.  I think her gemstones show that energy in the way they helped me form the wires.  I love this pendant and it's been an absolute delight to create.  Enjoy the images!

Peaking in ... A Custom Pendant Order in Progress

I've been head down, working on this wonderful custom order and I thought I'd take a break to give you (and the owner) a peak at what I'm up to.

I've been given the opportunity to wrap up these three beautiful gemstone into a pendant.  I've decided to mix my wire weaving technique with something akin to 'heady wrapping'.  I'm harnessing these gemstone without snap settings nor am I putting them into wire built gem settings first.  They are being put into the pendant frame using 'tension'... basically, the pressure of wire from both the back and front sides of the frame.

Using the yellow Citrine teardrop as an example, you can see that I've built a 'cradle' for it to sit in.  I've overlapped coiled wires along it's face to hold it into place.  This is a very secure method, but requires quite a bit of time!  I don't drill coil my wires either... I do it all by hand.
