Wire Wrapped Jewelry, Class Registration, Saturday and Sunday September 15 and 16th, 2018, 10am - 5pm, Wire Wrapping 101, Beginner with Perfectly Twisted Jewelry at the Denver Gem & Mineral Show, Denver, Colorado



I will be teaching a beginner wire wrapping class on Saturday and Sunday, September 15 and 16, 2018, during the Denver Gem & Mineral show.  The same class is being offered both days due to popular demand for this class as well as to give you ample time to spend at the dealer booths! I bring all the classroom tools and materials, you bring a smile and a 'can do!' attitude and it'll be a wonderful time!

Each classroom will be 20 students and will run 10am to 4:30/5pm, with a one hour lunch break.  Lunch is on your own and there is a convenient food court inside the show, so you can eat and enjoy seeing some of the amazing dealer booths.  There is also near by fast food within walking and very short driving distances.  There will be water bottles, small candies and chips inside the classroom for you to enjoy during class.  
I will have 2 teacher assistants in classroom to help us though out the day.  I will also have an overhead projector and camera on my work space so you get a clear, close up view of my hands during instruction!  
Students must be 18 or over to attend alone and 16 years old minimum, with an adult.  
*** There is a $7.00 Show entry to be paid at the Mart doors before you reach the classroom.  Ask about Senior and Military discounts into the Show! ***
Class tuition includes:
Material kit with everything you need to complete a beautiful copper pendant project.  I also give extra wires so that you can do another pendant at home after class on your own!  
Digital Documents: Perfectly Twisted Jewelry, Wire Wrapping Class Documents
1. All About Wire, 2. Tool Usage & Tips, 3. Taking Measure, 4. A Focus on Bale, 5.  Full Pendant Tutorial, 6. Patina Madness (how to oxidize your wires). 
Use of Tools:  I bring tool kits to share in class (1 tool kit for every 2 students), but if you have tools, you are welcome and encouraged to bring what you have. 
The basic tools are:  1.Flush cutter 2.Round nose pliers 3.Chain link or flat nose pliers 4.Nylon jaw pliers.

Student Comfort: Please bring any eye gear you might need; readers, magnifiers, etc.  Wear comfortable, casual clothing (remember, wire can snag!).
Class registration is NON REFUNDABLE, so please be sure of your calendar schedule and availability before you sign up.  Thank you for your understanding!

The Denver Gem & Mineral Show is held in the Expo Hall of the Denver Mart at 451 E 58th Ave, Denver, 80216. We are just a few blocks east of I-25 at exit 215 (58th Ave).

 ​Coming from the North Take Interstate 25 South to exit #215 (58th Avenue) and turn left onto 58th Avenue

Coming from the South Take Interstate 25 North to exit #215 (58th Avenue) and turn right onto 58th Avenue

Coming from the East Take Interstate 70 West to Interstate 25 North. Take exit #215 (58th Avenue) and turn right onto 58th Avenue

Coming from the West Take Interstate 70 East to Interstate 25 North. Take exit #215 (58th Avenue) and turn right onto 58th Avenue

 Parking, Shuttle & Admission

Parking at the Mart is free, but the lot can fill up requiring visitors to park nearer other entrances to the Mart. Visitors may also access the show through the Plaza entrance.

 Admission is $7 for adults; $4 for seniors, teens 13 to 19 years old, and US military personnel. Children under 13 are admitted free with an adult. Scouts and leaders in uniform are also admitted free of charge. Three-day passes are $15 for adults and $10 for seniors/teens/military. When planning your visit, please be aware that the ticket line at the Expo entrance will be longest in the morning.

Perfectly Twisted Jewelry Students from Colorado Mineral and Fossil Spring Show 2018!!

What an amazing group of wire wrapping students you are!!! I had a wonderful time and enjoyed each of you very much.  Congratulations on completing your beautiful projects!  We had a great time at the Colorado Mineral and Fossil Spring April 2018 Show, the event was run beautifully and I'm grateful to the show coordinators for a flawless time.  The Crowne Plaza Convention Center Hotel was gorgeous with attentive and well organized staff.  We made new friends, new customers, great contacts and enjoyed the smiling crowds all three days.  Thank you again to my incredible students!  I look forward to seeing you again in future classes!  Thank you to my incredible team (all 3 rockstars)! CMS Wire Wrapping Classes! March 2018 with Perfectly Twisted Jewelry
